The war in Ukraine demonstrates how much feeling of our personal security and wellbeing are dependent on energy supplies. As a result of brutal attacks and air strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, currently millions of people in Ukraine remain without a stable electricity supply, heat, and water. Everything is connected to electricity.

The mission of the Charitable Foundation RePower Ukraine is to provide emergency power to Ukrainians during the war and in the post-war period with preferably renewable energy sources. Helping ultimately those who are without electricity and those whose stable energy supply is critically needed for social purposes. The Mission of the Charitable Foundation corresponds to the post war decentralized renewable energy development of Ukraine. RePower Ukraine has been created by renewable energy professionals and top Ukrainian renewable energy companies as a response to the challenges caused by the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. RePower Ukraine is active in the field of energy supply and promotion of the renewable recovery of Ukraine, its cities, and municipalities, primarily in the de-occupied territories, on the principles of sustainable development, using renewable energy sources and the most energy-efficient technologies.

The Foundation’s vision is to provide an autonomous energy supply to Ukrainians both during the war and in the post-war period. Helping those who need energy the most now or whose stable energy supply is critically needed in times of war.

Our motto is “Resilience and green recovery for Ukraine”, which means countering the energy war and support of further “green” recovery of Ukraine.
