RePower Ukraine supports Ukrainian state and municipal enterprises in transitioning to solar energy

The RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation assists state-owned and municipal enterprises seeking to improve energy efficiency and transition to renewable energy sources by installing solar power plants with energy storage systems. Target audience and goal:

The program is aimed at the municipal or public sector in the areas of infrastructure, innovation, and energy. Its primary purpose is to improve energy efficiency and modernise equipment and buildings for critical facilities that provide vital services (healthcare, education, water, heat, shelter).

Requirements for participants:

Participants must meet five key criteria:

  • Institutional capacity: availability of a contact person, willingness to cooperate, access to work, and accounting for savings
  • Technical suitability: functional electrical networks, no structural damage, safe placement of equipment
  • Social significance: constant use of the facility, dependence of many people
  • Readiness for operation: maintenance, personnel, energy monitoring
  • Safety: stable situation for installation

Priority for projects with community co-financing or participation in educational events.
