Training Format

Duration: 3 weeks (starting the last week of November)

Format: 30% online lectures, 70% offline practical training, 3–6 hours per day

Course Curriculum
1. Mathematical calculations
2. Latest developments in the solar energy sector
3. Basics of energy efficiency
4. Preparing the workspace for installing simple electrical networks up to 1000V
5. Auxiliary metalworking and electrical installation tasks
6. Processing, splicing, insulating, and soldering wires up to 1000V; laying installation wires and cables
7. Installation and repair of junction boxes, terminals, and fuse panels
8. Basic installation and carpentry work for mounting components and equipment of solar power systems
9. Installation of solar power plant equipment and cable networks
10. Basic repair and maintenance of solar installations up to 50 kW
11. Servicing and repairing components that convert solar energy into electricity

This course is implemented by RePower Ukraine in partnership with Vocational School No. 25 in Khmelnytskyi and the Khmelnytskyi Regional Employment Center.
