Empowering surgeons at mobile stabilization point with energy backup equipment

RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation supplied essential energy backup equipment to the surgeons’ team at a mobile stabilization point led by Doctor Mr. Igor Belkin.

Overview:

• The mobile stabilization point serves as a crucial facility, offering emergency medical aid and stabilization to individuals injured in the front-line region.
• The medical team consists of 5-6 surgeons and anesthesiologists dedicated to saving lives.
• Over the past year, the team provided emergency aid to 3.5 thousand people.

Challenge:

• Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy system and critical infrastructure have severely disrupted access to electricity.
• Availability of uninterrupted power supply is crucial for saving lives in hospitals, especially in the front-line region.

Solution:

• RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation procured and delivered essential energy backup equipment to the dedicated Igor Belkin surgical team.
• Equipment includes a portable solar battery, charging station, flashlight spotlights, and surge-protected extension leads.
