RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation has launched an educational course titled “Light of the Future” for children aged 12–15. The program combines online and in-person sessions and helps teenagers understand how renewable energy works, how modern technologies are transforming communities, and how everyone can make a difference in energy efficiency in their daily lives. The project became possible thanks to the support of donor Westmill Energy — a community-owned renewable energy cooperative in the UK that masterfully blends wind and solar generation, producing over 10 GWh of clean energy annually.  A comprehensive approach RePower Ukraine combines various forms of community support: we provide portable charging stations and flexible solar panels, and build solar power plants for schools and municipal institutions. The war has shattered millions of lives and significantly changed living and working conditions in Ukraine. At the same time, there has been a surge in demand for sustainable energy and modern professions that open up new prospects. That is why RePower Ukraine has launched training that helps people master the profession of solar power plant installer. This initiative is primarily aimed at supporting veterans and internally displaced persons.
