Daniil has always strived for change. Having an education from a technical university in the field of “Ferrous Metallurgy,” he understood that he wanted to try something new and promising. After learning about the “Solar ReStart” training course from the RePower Ukraine Foundation, he decided to apply without hesitation.
“I never had any experience working in solar energy before, but I always knew it was a field that requires qualified professionals and has enormous potential for development in Ukraine,” says Daniil. “When I saw the announcement about the course, I immediately felt that this was what I needed.”
Daniil, a veteran and former platoon sergeant in the infantry, demonstrated courage and leadership during his service. After leaving the military, he embarked on a new chapter by acquiring new skills to build his future career. He enrolled in our educational course for veterans to apply his knowledge and experience in civilian life. Daniil’s story is a remarkable example of strength, determination, and a commitment to helping rebuild Ukraine.
During the training, Daniil immersed himself in the world of solar energy. He studied innovative technologies, and the intricacies of designing, installing, and operating solar power plants. Practical sessions and working on real-life case studies were especially interesting for him.
“The course was intense and very useful. I gained not only deep theoretical knowledge but also skills in applying it in practice,” Daniil shares. “This gave me the confidence that I can realize myself in this field.”

Daniil has a lot of work ahead of him, but he is full of determination and enthusiasm. He strives to create a highly qualified team that will be able to implement ambitious solar energy projects.
