The RePower Ukraine Charitable Foundation has joined the international platform Skills Alliance for Ukraine.
This is an important step for the foundation, strengthening collaboration with state and international partners to develop professional skills and requalify Ukrainians.
Skills Alliance for Ukraine is an international initiative established to enhance Ukrainians’ qualifications in sectors critical for the country’s recovery. The Alliance unites governments, international financial institutions, businesses, and civil society organisations to create a systemic workforce training model for Ukraine’s rebuilding. Key priority areas include construction, energy, transport, logistics, agriculture, and other sectors facing a significant shortage of skilled professionals.
How does this benefit RePower Ukraine?
Joining Skills Alliance will enable RePower Ukraine to integrate our educational programmes into the broader requalification system. We will scale up solar and renewable energy courses, engaging more veterans, young people, and individuals seeking new careers in the green sector. This will also unlock new opportunities for partnerships, joint projects, and knowledge exchange with international organisations.
This focus is particularly crucial amid the acute shortage of skilled professionals in renewable energy and Ukraine’s overall reconstruction.
