Bohdan smiles as he recalls how just six months ago he decided to fundamentally change his life. He worked as a boiler installation technician, but he had always dreamed of a career in renewable energy.
“I am a paramedic by education, but I’ve always been interested in technologies, especially everything related to energy”, Bohdan says. “When I heard about the “Solar ReStart” course from the “RePower Ukraine Foundation”, I immediately understood that this was a chance to realize my dream”.
The “Solar ReStart” course provided Bohdan with the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the field of solar energy. He studied the principles of solar panel operation, and installation technologies, as well as the basics of doing business in the “green” industry.
“It was an incredibly intensive and interesting course. I learned so much new and realized that renewable energy is a truly promising and important field for Ukraine’s future,” Bohdan shares.
After completing the training, Bohdan aspires to establish his own solar power installation company, leveraging his prior work experience alongside the new knowledge and skills acquired during the course.
“I put my soul into this work. It’s important for me not only to earn money but also to make a real contribution to the development of clean energy in Ukraine. It inspires me every day,” Bohdan says.
“I like to see how my work makes a real difference. I really want every station I install to be a contribution to a cleaner environment and energy independence of Ukraine. This is extremely motivating for me to continue moving forward,” Bohdan proudly notes.
