Six months ago, we last spoke with Daniil (pictured right) – a former infantry platoon sergeant who had just completed our Solar ReStart course. He was seeking something meaningful and discovered solar energy for myself.

Today, he is running his own solar energy business.
The transformation happened fast. After just two months as an installer, Daniil launched his company. Now he’s not only installing systems – he’s building a team, advising clients, and working toward “solar independence” for entire communities.

“There’s huge demand for skilled professionals,” he told us. “Solar is expanding rapidly, but we don’t have enough people who truly know what they’re doing. Many learn from YouTube videos, but the quality shows. I’m grateful I started with proper fundamentals.”

What sets Daniil apart? He doesn’t just install and leave. His team visits sites, takes measurements, and creates detailed proposals. Everything’s transparent – clients see exactly what they’re paying for and how their system will work.
“People need to understand they’re not just buying equipment – they’re making an investment in independence,” he explains.

His team is growing too. ⚠️ A fellow veteran and electrician joined after graduating from the same course, but later. “I didn’t try to convince him,” Danyil says. “But passion spreads.”

“This isn’t just business for me,” Danyil reflects. ⚠️ “It’s about people. About confidence. About not depending on the grid, on attacks, on outages. Light must stay on – in every sense.”

For Danyil, Solar ReStart wasn’t just a course. It was the beginning of a new life after war. One filled with purpose, plans, and hope.
